Before we tuck in for the night inside our plush king-size bed at the Fairmont Chateau in Lake Louise, we headed for dinner at the Fairview Dining Room.

We got ourselves a window-side table for two. The snow that is now falling in earnest is framed beautifully by it.

Oh the weather outside is frightful 

But the fire is so delightful 

And since we've no place to go

It's christmas no longer, but you know how the rest goes.

If I'm 100% honest, I don't remember the minute details on how the food was, I do remember it being delicious and that the service was genial. Perhaps I was too busy enjoying the view.
